ACN Digital Phone Service allows customers to make telephone calls over their high speed Internet service instead of over traditional landlines. The service, which runs on ACN’s state-of-the-art, custom-built network, provides crystal-clear voice transmission to locations all over the world. Customers can access the service with their own handsets through a Phone Adapter or they can purchase an ACN Video Phone and see the person they are talking to.
“We know that a lot of people have been taking a closer look at their bills to see where they can save money,” ACN Co-Founder and Chairman Robert Stevanovski said. “Because our Digital Phone Service plan is already budget-friendly, we wanted to come up with ways to enhance the service to add value.”
ACN has introduced a Home Unlimited World Plan in the U.S. Like its similar plan offered in Canada, customers can get unlimited calling to over 60 countries, including the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. The plan is available to both new and existing customers, and best of all, there is no monthly price increase to sign up for it.
“Once we had that in place we wanted to give our customers another way to keep in touch for less,” Stevanovski said. “So, we took a look at ways to improve our Family Plans.”
ACN Video Phone Family Plan lines allow customers in the U.S. and Canada to add additional Digital Phone Service lines to their accounts for only $1.99/line/month. The lines, which must be added with a Video Phone, give customers a convenient way to keep in touch with friends and family. And they can be added to any primary Digital Phone Service account – whether the customer has service with a Phone Adapter or through ACN’s Video Phone.
“We know we have a great product, but we realized that some of our customers may not be using ACN Digital Phone Service as their primary phone service because they needed a fax line,” Stevanovski said. “So, we decided to take care of that issue and save them money in the process.”
ACN accomplished that by adding faxing capabilities to its Digital Phone Service with a Phone Adapter. The enhancement was released to all existing and new customers in the U.S. and Canada with an automatic update over ACN’s reliable network. Now, any time a customer wants to send a fax, all they need to do is plug a fax line into the Phone Adapter instead of their landline.
